LION'S GATE
"Lion's Gate" is a newer North Barrie community built between 2001 and 2005. This neighbourhood is a mix of freehold townhomes and executive detached homes many with great views of Little Lake and the surrounding greenbelt area. Affordable townhomes populate the first block of Lion's Gate Boulevard between Livingstone Street East and Pacific Avenue. A small group of executive townhomes were also built along the fringe of this neighbourhood, fronting onto a service lane off Cundles Road East. The executive detached homes were primarily built by Gregor Homes and range from 1100 square foot bungalows to 2500+ square foot 2-storeys.
Location:
Lion's Gate is bordered by Livingstone Street East and Cundles Road East on the west and south. The Little Lake parklands is adjacent to it along the north and east side.

Osprey Ridge Park is on the south side of Livingstone Street East at the intersection of Marjoy Avenue and just east of Stollar Boulevard. This 4.16 acre park also includes a sports field typically used for soccer. The Little Lake parkland runs along the northern fringe of this community providing ample outdoor venues for children of all ages.
